摘 要: In this talk, I will present the results obtained in collaboration with Professor Xiaoqin Shen (Xi’an University of Technology) concerning the convergence of a numerical scheme for an obstacle problem for shallow shells. A new higher regularity result will be established and the convergence of the scheme will thus be proved.
作者简介：Dr. Paolo Piersanti graduated from the University of Perugia, Italy. Afterwards, Paolo moved to Hong Kong, and earnt a PhD in Mathematics from City University of Hong Kong, working under the supervision of Distinguished Professor Philippe G. Ciarlet. For the contributions contained in his Ph.D. Thesis, Paolo was awarded the Hong Kong Mathematical Society Best Thesis Award in 2020.
Currently, Paolo holds a position as Zorn postdoctoral fellow at Indiana University Bloomington, working with Distinguished Professor Roger Temam.
